Betty Humphrey Breeden is a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales, directing, acting, writing, and producing, with over 30 years of experience in theater and film. She began writing and producing her stage plays solo, which led to her acclaimed movie 'The Book False Prophet' adapted from her stage play 'Is My Name On The Book?'. Betty now serves as the film director and co-founder of The Chicago Urban Music And Film Festival. Some of her stage plays include 'A Long Ways From Home', 'A Woman’s Role In the Church', and 'Beyond The Shadow: Destiny Awaits' (Based on a Heartfelt True Story).
The film 'The Book False Prophet' has been screened at several film festivals locally and internationally, and has won five Best Awards globally. The film received a total of nine awards. Ms. Betty is always working on something new! In addition to her film and theatrical endeavors she offers writing and directional services part- time.
